Ideas for holidays, weekends and trips in Cergy-Pontoise and its surroundings

During your stay at the Campanile Cergy-Pontoise Hotel, you can take advantage of all the activities and sights the towns of Cergy and Pontoise have to offer. The area is home to a number of historic churches, some of which date back hundreds of years. The Saint-Christopher Church, for example, was first built in the 12th century, and is 3km from the hotel. Pontoise is home to underground caves, some the remnants of medieval quarries, others carved out with ornate arches and vaults. The Pontoise tourism office offers visits of these caves on Sunday afternoons. The Tavet-Delacour Museum in Pontoise is housed in the Estouteville mansion, a 15th century gothic structure that was once home to the Vicar of Pontoise. The museum features ancient and modern works of art. Cergy's leisure park, located in the centre of the city, covers 250 hectares and offers numerous activities for the entire family, including rafting, kayaking, water skiing, surfing, sailing, hiking, and fishing. There are also play areas for children, barbecue pits, a beach and a mini-golf course. The port in Cergy provides a great view of the Oise River and holds up to 70 boats. For more outdoor fun, be sure the visit the Vexin Français Regional Nature Park, to the west of the city.
